Sylvia Dsouza

Sylvia Dsouza is the Vice President of Philanthropy for the International Myeloma Foundation. Sylvia has a diverse background and experience in global hospitality, donor relations, non-profit and higher education fundraising, and advancement. During her decade-long fundraising career, Sylvia has been a part of three multi-billion-dollar capital campaigns. Sylvia was most recently the Senior Executive Director of Development, Principal Gifts, and Planned Giving at the RAND Corporation. Her tenure at RAND began in October 2018, as the inaugural Executive Director of Development for the Pardee RAND Graduate School, a role in which she was responsible for setting the fundraising strategy and managing the activities and engagements with the philanthropic community.
Prior to joining RAND, Sylvia worked with the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy External Affairs Development team for three years, where she was the team lead for major and principal gifts from local and international parents of undergraduate students and alumni. Sylvia also worked in development for the UCLA School of Engineering, UCLA School of Dentistry, UCLA School of Arts and Architecture, and UCLA’s Herb Albert School of Music. Prior to her development career, she worked as a front office executive for the Sheraton Group of Hotels, and then as a flight attendant for Singapore Airlines.
Sylvia earned her M.P.A. from USC and a B.A. in communication studies from UCLA.
