Lucy Denny-Gardner is the Director of Conference Services at the RAND Corporation, overseeing meetings and events in the Santa Monica, Washington D.C., Pittsburgh, and Boston offices. Prior to joining RAND in January 2016, she spent her career in the entertainment industry, most notably at King World Productions, syndicator of Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy!, The Oprah Winfrey Show, Inside Edition, Dr. Phil, and other top 10 rated shows. King World was purchased by CBS where Lucy became Vice President of Special Projects, handling large scale events, conventions, operations, and office relocations.

Following her time at CBS, Lucy produced conferences and events for Promax International, a television marketing association, including Station Summit, the premier convention for television marketing professionals, where she partnered with executives from Warner Brothers, NBCUniversal, ABC, Fox, The CW, and Sony.

At RAND, Lucy is responsible for all large-scale internal and external meetings, conference room technology, audio-visual, and meetings and events departments and has an active role and interest in diversity, equity, inclusion, and fairness. She has a background in entertainment finance and a master’s degree in communication management from USC.
