Ava Sadripour

Fundraising Committee Co-Chair

Ava Sadripour is a nonprofit leader with nearly two decades of experience. She has helped nonprofits achieve success in areas including strategic planning, fundraising and communications, board creation and leadership, signature events, membership, and staffing and team building.

In her leadership roles she has recruited and nurtured goal-driven and dynamic teams, built and expanded active and hands-on boards, implemented comprehensive and innovative multi-tier fundraising programs, and created unique special events—including the completion of a historic campaign for The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, an inaugural fundraising luncheon featuring First Lady Michelle Obama for the GRAMMY Museum, a birthday campaign celebrating architect Frank Gehry for Turnaround Arts: California, and a sold-out gala honoring Motown legends Smokey Robinson and Berry Gordy.

Prior to her career in nonprofit leadership, Ava was a litigator specializing in international human rights and environmental law. She has also served on nonprofit boards and committees, including for Human Rights Watch, Stray Cat Alliance, and the Association of Fundraising Professionals (Greater Los Angeles Chapter).
